Watch the movies or videos from your computer on your Samsung Smart TV by sharing media files from one device to the other.

Smart View is the official Samsung app for Windows to stream multimedia content from your PC to your smart TV wirelessly. What Smart View does is enable you to share media files stored in your computer, that is, photos, videos, and music, so you can enjoy them on the big screen of your Samsung TV. It supports most smart TVs from Samsung, starting with 2011 models, and works on Windows 7, 8, and 10.

The application uses a wireless connection to link your PC to your smart TV. For that reason, the most important requirement is that both devices are connected to the same network. Since the app is intuitive and provides a step-to-step approach, pairing the devices should not be a problem. Once your TV is turned on and connected to the network, you select it from the list and confirm the connection using a PIN code.

Smart View looks like a standard media player, with the usual player controls and even playlist support. It is possible to add videos for streaming by selecting individual files, or simply by adding a whole folder with media content. Once your media files are loaded, you just click the Play button and your selected file will start playing on your TV. If you load a folder with multiple files, you can organize them in a list or in thumbnail view, easily delete items from the list, or add any items to a custom playlist. Another great feature is that it supports external subtitles.

There are many ways to cast movies and media files from a computer to TV. But if you are looking for an easy, uncomplicated solution to watch your movie collection in your Samsung smart TV, Smart View is your best choice.
